Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has dropped Patch 2.1.86 on the Advanced Server, introducing major hero adjustments, battlefield tweaks, and system updates. Players can get an early look at these changes that are expected to shift the meta, giving them an edge before the patch goes live.
Hero Adjustments ⚔️
Buffed Heroes 💪
First up, a few heroes are seeing some love, getting buffs that could bring them back into rotation or solidify their current spots. Kaja, who recently got revamped, is getting some smoother controls for his Skill 2, the Soaring State. They’ve reduced the cooldown from 17-14 seconds down to 15-12 seconds, and turning during flight is less restricted. Plus, hitting an ally with Skill 2 now boosts flight duration, which is a nice touch for those team plays. His Ultimate lasso also got a speed boost, making it more responsive to Kaja’s movement. Ruby also got some straight damage buffs on her Skill 1, both the Scythe and Shockwave portions are getting increases to their total physical attack scaling. We’re talking 100% to 110% on Scythe damage, and 50% to 55% on Shockwave. Zhuxin’s mana regen from her Crimson Butterfly is going up from 4% to 5%, which should help her sustain in fights.Aulus is also looking scarier for low-HP targets. Devs adjusted his damage composition and improved his chase potential. His enhanced Basic Attack Damage is changing quite a bit, making him a bigger threat. Aurora’s cooldowns on both Skill 1 and Skill 2 are getting shaved down, so expect her to throw out more frosty goodness more often. Ling’s early game clear and damage are also getting a bump, with his passive basic attack speed increasing and Skill 2 seeing both a cooldown and energy cost reduction. That should make him feel a bit snappier in the jungle.
Nerfed Heroes 📉
It’s not all buffs, though. Some mainstays are getting pulled back a bit. Claude, for instance, is seeing a slight nerf to his mobility with an increased cooldown on Skill 2, going from 13-10.5s to 14-11.5s. Leomord’s early game farming and mid-to-late game durability in his Ultimate state are both being toned down. His Skill 1 damage against creeps is reduced, and the hybrid defense boost from his Ultimate is also getting cut back. Odette is another one on the nerf radar. They noted that her movement speed during her Ultimate was a bit too high when combined with her Skill 1 slow and Skill 2 immobilize, so the slow effect during her ult is increasing to 40% but her movement speed itself is the thing that they’re targeting. They also optimized the interval between her Ultimate casts to prevent accidental interruptions, which is a nice quality of life change amidst a nerf. Masha had some issues fixed—like recovering too much HP sometimes and her Skill 2 critting. After those fixes, they adjusted her damage composition. Her Passive Feral Regen is down from 15% to 10% of Max HP, and her extra damage is also seeing adjustments. Her Skill 2 cooldown is also getting extended from 8-5s to 9-7s. Suyou is seeing a reduction in his early-to-mid-game damage output, with base damage decreases across his Skill 2 whether you tap or hold it.
Advanced Server Hero Tweaks ✨
New heroes on the Advanced Server like Hirara are getting some tweaks too. Her skill casting experience has been optimized, and they’ve reverted some buffs from last week. Her Passive energy recovery delay is gone, but her Skill 1 cooldown is up. Skill 2 damage is generally reduced, but the 1st+2nd combo damage is actually buffed, while the 2nd+1st combo damage is nerfed. Kalea’s damage curve is also being adjusted, scaling down early game damage and bumping up late game damage with changes to her passive’s enhanced basic attack damage.
System & Battlefield Updates ⚙️
Core System Optimizations 🛠️
Beyond the heroes, there are some interesting battlefield and system adjustments. For Mythical Honor matches, Cecilion’s Passive is buffed, increasing max mana and mana regen upon skill hit. Interestingly, previous adjustments to Vale in Mythical Honor were completely removed. On the system side, expect some nice updates to Highlights Notifications. Visual effects for the secondary notification area are optimized, especially for teammate likes. You won’t see the same highlights in both main and secondary areas anymore. Plus, they’re adding new hero-exclusive highlights and fresh voice-overs for notifications. Season Achievements are getting some love too. You’ll now carry over your highest-level Style Plate per lane from the previous season, and there are more tasks and optimized completion requirements for existing ones. Hero Difficulty Ratings are being re-evaluated and updated across most heroes on the Official Server. This means the in-game difficulty references should be more accurate for current match environments, which is always helpful for newer players or those trying a new role. The art for the Supreme Medal and Supreme MVP has been optimized, and they even reverted some previous art quality optimizations for existing medals.
Chaos Clash Mode Changes 💥
Finally, Chaos Clash mode is getting some changes. A new random event called “Chip” will place four shrinking portals on the battlefield at the start of the match, forcing players to think about mobility. Estes’ healing effect frequency is reduced in combat rounds, so fewer surprise heals. And a nice buff for Super Sky Piercer and Super Thunder Belt—they’ll grant an extra 2,000 Gold when you grab the buff.
